I met a surprising number of people back when I lived in the dorms at A&M who didn't know how washers and dryers worked. Not just not to mix reds with whites, but actually how to operate the machines. I feel like by the time you are around 20 that should be a basic life skill.
I think the worst thing though was a girl I knew asking me, after the A&M cannon fired when we scored at a game, what we did with the cannon balls.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

my first college roomate used nothing but DRYER sheets to wash his clothes our first semester
