10-2 is L5Us best case scenario.

Ok, taking in everyone's situation with returning players and coaching staff who would you predict to beat them?

OOC they play Wisconsin, Jacksonville State, Southern Miss, and South Alabama. Those are all wins.

Their SEC East opponents are Mizzou and Florida. I've already covered the UF situation, but to recap they have 5 players leaving early (6 if you add in Grier) and they weren't deep anyhow. Mac will have his hands full early on. Even if Mizzou isn't a dumpster fire, they're still going to be shoveling out the ashes and debris. Both those games are wins.

Now for the west.

Moo State couldn't beat Steele & Harris in Starkville with Dak and Manny Diaz. They certainly won't win in BR with whomever comes next.

Auburn. Need I say more? LF is still running. Win

Ole Miss & Alabama. LSU gets them at home, but these are still the games they're most likely to lose. Right here and now I'll predict a loss to Alabama. Ole Miss isn't as solid because they're losing some superstars but even if they drop both then they're at my worst case of 2 losses.

Arkansas. They play LSU tough, so they're a threat but if Collins does as expected and goes pro, they're losing a huge amount of offensive production. LSU should be better.

aTm. Nuclear level meltdown. I wouldn't be shocked if Noel Mazzone or John Chavis is interim coach by the time they face LSU.

All the pieces are in place for them to have a really good season next year. If they don't, then good feelings aside they MUST move on from Les.

That is how I see it too.

However, with a veteran team and getting both Ole Miss and Alabama at home, I think that they win one of those.

I am sure that LSU will go 10-2, but I cannot find the other loss. Arkansas again, I guess. That seems to be a regular thing.

Les Miles could have the New England Patriots roster and still go 10-2 at best (sans 2011).

I agree on Arkansas, we lose the #1 rated SEC QB as well as Alex, Denver Kirkland, Hunter Henry.

Replacing Brandon Allen will be the key to hang with LSU that's loaded. Austin Allen has been in the system for three years and was highly rated.
He has competition with three 4* QB's on campus.

Bama will still be loaded like always, I don't see anyone from the West taking it from them with their depth. LSU, will be the team that will be talked about, but Less's offense is a stoppable force unless he puts some wrinkles in like Saban has done for Bama. Hell even Bret has installed a balanced offense where BA threw for over 3500 yards and had a 1500 yard rusher. It's Bama, LSU in the West 2016.

I'm a huge LSU fan, and I generally prefer to be a sunshine pumper. I'd rather have hope and anticipation, then be brooding and miserable.

Obectively speaking, Wisconsin at Lambeau Field is a dangerous game. Wisconsin isn't a terrible team, and this is not a regular early season neutral site game, this is like LSU playing someone in the Superdome. To say they will come out sky high is an understatement.
