I agree the ACC is certainly the weakest power conference. But Clemson's division is certainly the stronger divsion... and there are some tough opponents on that side.

Florida State, Louisville, and NC State are all formidable tests. But when you add to that playing Notre Dame OOC, North Carolina in the ACC Title Game, and Oklahoma last week... its impossible to say that Clemson has not been tested.

Alabama is also Clemson's toughest test of the season.

It should be a great game that comes down to the 4th quarter. I think Alabama has a 50/50 shot of winning. My point is that I don't understand the overconfidence on the Bama side when Clemson is built exactly like all the teams that have given Saban fits over the past several years.

Would you not have a very high level of confidence right now if you were a Bama fan? I mean Bama has in fact "been here before" several times in the last 7 yrs.

Kirby has had problems a few times with offenses like Clemson's...We'll see if he's evolved and been able to overcome.
