Georgia's border with Tennessee is supposed to be situated on the 35th parallel. It somehow got shite out of that survey by a horizontal mile on the border. This is fact and the law has clearly proven it to be so. The problem is its a 200 yr old frick up.

When you consider what they had to measure with it's pretty good that they only missed by a mile.
