I was en route from my gf's folks in Anniston to my grandma's in Prattville, and the warning kicked in right as I was getting into Irondale. I pulled off onto Montevallo to go seek shelter at my apartment in Homewood. Then they said that it was coming right for my apartment 
So I booked it down 280 south and ducked into a hotel lobby right past 459.
Looks like things are settled down, about to head to grandma's.

Hearing people are trapped in debris. Anyone have any updates or info? Sad anytime, but Christmas Day, that's terrible.

3 pulled from debris, no fatalities. One en route to hospital. Tornado touched down around Jefferson Ave and 50th St
