I give a lot of credit to Mullen. He has done alot with what he has, but I don't think he can keep this up with the talent gap being as big as it is.

LSU #1
Ole miss #3
Bama at #5
Auburn #10

TAMU #20 and dropping
Ark #28

MSU #50

At some point, the AD needs to address this!

Nah, we'll finish in top 25, probably higher. The rest of our class will be made up of most of:

4* Jefferey Simmons
4* AJ Brown
4* Kobe Jones
4* Emmit Gooden
4* Rawkwon Davis
4* Stephan Sullivan
4* Jeremiah Moon
4* Scott Lashley
4* Jamal Couch
4* Nigel Knott
4* Willie Allen

Well, one of the top dual threat QB's in the country just committed, so that should help.

Don't you know stars don't matter? Not when you have the superior work ethic.

Just look how close the last two Egg Bowls have been.

It wasn't lack of stars that gave up nine sacks to Bama and seven to Ole Miss. Mullen just didn't give a damn.

If you calculate the players state leads for now, And this doesn't include Simmons or Knott, state finished somewhere between 16-25.

I disagree with the OP. Judging from performance on the field seems like State is gradually builidng tougher teams: Mentally, phisically and talent wise.

It won't be easy replacing Dak, but Mullen seems to be doing a stong job.
