It blows my mind that he's winning all these things. I've never once watched him and seen the same jaw dropping domination I saw from Cam, DMAC Vince Young or Reggie Bush.

Then you are a blind dude.

I'm 47 years old and I've been watching college football a long time, and he is great. The best that I've ever seen come through Alabama and the SEC in years. I think Bo was great, and so was Hershel (who I think was the best of all time), but he is the best I've seen in the modern era. Period.

They have to give out a Heisman every year, even in years where there isn't a super flashy player to give it too.

Maybe. I'm certainly no expert. I just don't see much pro potential. Without an o-line to put a hole right in front of his face and space for him to pick up speed, I don't see him doing much. His lateral movement ability leaves WAY too much to be desired. Lagarrette Blount is the closest modern NFL comparison I can think of and Henry doesn't have his patience or vision.

You say that, but I'd rather have Fournette.

Bham4tide. We are about the same age. I got to see Nathan, Humph, Shaun, all the legends. You are right. He is the best.

I was one of the ones that thought he wouldnt be successful because of his body type. His center of gravity is too high for a RB. I was like, this guy is an all pro MLB. What's he doing at RB? But, this year made me eat crow. He was better than anyone who came before.

Other fan bases don't realize how young this online for Bama really is. They didn't have 50 starts between the 5. 3 first year players and a true Soph at LT. A first year QB with a frosh and a soph as the primary receivers. That didn't strike fear in opposing defenses. Henry earned this the hard way. This ain't the 2012 online with AJ and Amari. DH deserves everything he is getting now. Happy for him.
