Any insight on a CC for a woman. I'm looking at a Taurus TP738 atm. Need something easy to carry. My wife is a pharmacist and will more than likely need to pull it one day (scary as that sounds).

I'd be leery of Taurus's quality control.

The common approach for a women with little gun experience is a hammerless revolver. No safety to worry with, no clip, no hammer to hang up in purse. Only downside is she has to pull the trigger to cock and fire. If she is in a situation, she will be strong enough to do this with a well maintained gun. I personally like a hammer on a revolver, but I am old-school and a guy.

Absolutely for a woman. . 380 - the Walther
Small. Enough stopping force. They even make a pink one.
