With a new hire in place they should reconsider - not because they earned it but because it would help to get those extra practices in. Sure Mizzou might lose the bowl game but those practices would really help going into the offseason.

So much this, they act like it would hurt the football team to play in a bowl.

It would be a couple extra weeks of the old staff and the old system. Would hurt more than it would help

This is the part they don't get.

This is why it is so important to get even a minor bowl. You get that extra time.
