Which first time Head Coach gets fired first?

A lot of teams taking huge risks in first time head coaches. I expected a lot more mid major guys like Babers, Rhule, and Herman. Instead we have ended up with this:
SEC
Odom - Mizzou
Muschamp - USC (maybe)
Smart - Georgia
Non-SEC
Durkin - Maryland
Frost - UCF
Rolovich - Hawaii
Candle - Toledo
Smart money would be on Kirby. Expectations in UGA are ridiculous, a few 8 win seasons might be enough to have him canned. On the other hand, I would say Muschamp, if he got the job, would have the shortest leash. If his teams look like Florida again, he could be gone before he has time to find a house.
I would say the safest would be guys who are doing full rebuild jobs, Frost and Durkin.

Odom
We kept a coach for 15 years without a natty. Smart knows he hit the job security jackpot
Mizz on the other hand should be lucky to finish 6th in the East

6th? You have better expectations than I. Odom will last 3 years. Smart and Muschamp might not last 2.

It won't be Odom.
Mizzou might not be able to find another coach.

The Florida stint was a dress rehearsal, he was a pretend head coach.
I'll allow it.

A 4 year dress rehearsal?
Get out of here.

Just wait until you're ranked 108th in total offense, but you're killing it in TOP. Muschamp likes that shite. A real HC would be searching for a solution.

Nobody knows how Muschamp will do this time around. I'll reserve judgment until we see who the OC is.

Will does like to hire OCs. He did a lot of that at UF.

Muschamp, Carolina. Proven track record and all.

I disagree with your comment.
I like Odom as Mizzou's HC...... Odom wants to be at Missouri. Not using the job as a stepping stone but I feel he plans on staying for a long time. Congrats Missouri.
Getting back on the OP..... I feel llike Smart will be the first person to be fired!! Not quit... but FIRED out of all the new coaches.
Reasons..... SEC EAST getting tough with all the new coaches the last few years. UTK, FLA. And the teams are slowly getting better. Pressure will be on Smart to win and win early.....
Second, Smart has absolutely NO HC EXPERIENCE. taking his first HC job in the SEC is ridiculous. WIll be a rough undertaking for a newbie.
Durkin at Maryland was my close second.... Maryland playing in the Big Ten annually playing Penn State, Ohio St, Michigan and MIch state will be brutal. Other then Under Armour, how is Maryland going to recruit players....

first of all, it's simply not possible for all schools to hire a proven HC. proven HC's have large buyouts and they have tendencies to be happy where they are winning and the fans love them.
so asst coaches are fertile ground to move up. also, as the HC's get old and retire (a la Spurrier and the guy at VT) upward mobility accelerates.
taking a chance on an "up and comer" assistant is much less expensive than stealing a successful HC from another program due to these buyouts. if the guy doesn't work out, fire him and give it another go with someone else.

Muschamp is complete shite.
EVERYONE knows how he will do. It's laughable that SC is going to hire this guy, especially after all the crowing that was done about SC being a destination that was guaranteed to make a HR hire.
Tanner is a fool, but I'm glad he is.
