From that perspective, every single aspect of a coaching change is unknown. However, you couldn't possibly be set up any better for success on the defensive side of the ball.

If Pruitt is retained, the defense keeps on rolling. If Muschamp comes to town, I think the defense keeps rolling. It's when you get to option 3 and beyond that I think Smart's inexperience might be a bigger factor on defense.

I feel the same way, but his defense will be ok regardless. If Muschamp can build that Florida d to what we see now, Kirby sure as hell can.
