Cook leads Heisman contenders in YPC

Also plays in a very weak conference, making it hard to tell just how good he really is. Florida was doing pretty well against him until their defense just couldn't do all the work on their own anymore. If I'm counting correctly, he had roughly 30 yards in the first half. Quick estimate is that at least half of his 183 yards and both touchdowns came in the 4th quarter.

Nothing to specifically take away from him, as Florida is a seriously stout defense. Just not sure his YPC would nearly be as high in the SEC.

How can you knock Cook for this and in the same breath give Henry credit for getting a metric ton of carries in the second half of games? They both wear defenses down.

Cook even said he knew he had them when he saw their hands on their hips. Cook is such a high caliber athlete that he can keep going.

Oh, and again, Cook has faced, on average, better run defenses than Fournette, Henry, and Elliott.

You really think Cook would have trouble against A&M, Auburn, LSU, and Arkansas?

if we're being completely honest, the SEC isn't exactly strong this season. Fournette has had two sub 100 yard games all season, yet he apparently only played well against bad defenses. By that notion, 6 of the 8 other SEC games he played in were against bad teams.
