Lindsey Duvall, a 5-foot-9 point guard and the No. 10 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Super 60 for the 2017 class, has given a verbal commitment to Kentucky. Duvall also had been considering South Carolina, Michigan, Colorado, Ohio State and Louisville
In other SEC news, only Vanderbilt in the SEC is currently in the Top 20 for recruiting classes for 2016. LINK as of the week before Thanksgiving.

You would think they would change the name to something less embarrassing than HoopGurlz.

It was a name used by a an old recruiting service. Basically it was a 1 guy operation and he named it. ESPN bought it and the guy probably put a clause in there to keep the name he gave it.

That's a nice pick-up for UK. USC's Dawn Staley and staff need to seriously get on the ball for the 2017 class and start getting some commitments. Like with Duvall quite a number of top prospects for that cycle have USC in their top lists, but that means nothing if we don't get some signatures.
As for the 2016 class, technically South Carolina will have a class of 5* PG Araion Bradshaw (#10 PG) and high 4* F Mikiah Harrigan (#12 F), and also add transfers Kaela Davis (former 5* and 1st team all-ACC) and Alisha Gray (former 5* and 2nd team all-ACC) to the active roster. ESPN had rated Davis higher than Diamond Deshields...
I know Davis and Gray are already on the team and are having to sit out their transfer year per NCAA rules, but if they were included with the incoming class for the season they were active again, USC would have a top 10 caliber class for the 2016-17 season...

So what ended up being the take on all of the transfers UK has had as of late? One of our girls she has recruited (she signed elsewhere) was surprised by it as well.

Harper will become a Buckeye LINK
Rumor was she was headed to Vols so a bit of a surprise.
If homesickness was an issue Columbus is about same distance as Lexington.
