Bass wont even remotely even hint at a move again
1) That means no buyout, so King Alexanders BS line wont work to protect Miles
2) Alleva is itching to pull the trigger
3) The fan base would explode after saving his job. They would help him pack

They said he was lining up his next job last week just in case.

People who haven't left Louisiana don't recognize how poorly perceived Les Miles is as a football game coach by the rest of the country.
Les Miles might catch on at a place like USF or UCF or North Texas, but there are no upgrades or lateral moves in his future. We're stuck with him.
