Hearing Kirby is waffling now. That story was not supposed to hit the press yesterday and was filled with inaccuracies. Chip Towers is the worst reporter on this planet.

Anyone notice how similar the KS hire resembles the MR hire 15 years ago.
KS - 39, turns 40 this month
MR - 40
KS - 9 ys at Bama, 8 as DC
MR - 11 ys at FSU, 7 as OC
Both coming from what at the time was considered the best program in the country, under the best coach.
Both , have waited years for their opportunity, both turned down chances to even interview for good jobs, much less try to get them.
Hopefully this means a good long run for KS at UGA.

That's my concern about Helton. Is it Brohm's scheme, game planning, and play calling, or Helton's? When I watched the WKU v Marshall game, I saw Brohm with a laminated play sheet on the sidelines and they never showed Helton. Maybe he was up in the booth? I don't know.
I love the WKU scheme though. It's like a spread-pro style hybrid. The QB gets in a short shotgun, only about 2-3 yards behind the center, and RB's lineup everywhere. They even do FB leads from the gun and pull TE's for lead blocking RB's as well. They toss in some run/pass read-option and consistently line their 6'5 TE's up on the outside as wide receivers to create huge matchup issues against 6' CB's. It's unpredictable as hell and I could picture us thriving with it.
But is that Helton or Brohm? That's the question.
