If the right hire is made, absolutely. Look at Florida, hell look at Houston. It's not always like Tennessee and Texas.

And what is Richt's record vs ranked teams the past 5 year? The past 10 years?

Who cares how many wins we have if every year Richt shits the bed in a big game and we lose to an unranked team. The SEC East is down and Richt can still just barely win the East.

Are you talking about last season and 2012? Last year, let down game vs UF and coaching mistakes in GT and USC costs us games.

2012 we had a great team, but shitted the bed vs USC. We came out flat when the game was a top tier matchup at the time. It would be one thing if this didn't happen to much, but it happens about once a year now with two this season. With the playoff games right after the SEC championship game, no way do I see Richt winning the 3 biggest games of his career in a row.
