I have only watched UK play three times (UGA,AUB,Vandy) so take this FWIW, but I thought that after yall started 4-1 that Stoops had finally turned the corner. I was genuinely worried about the potential for an upset as part of Mark Richt's three part annual bedshitting, but after watching the Auburn game I realized that this was not the case and my opinion was solidified after watching the Tennessee and Miss St. games.
Stoops has put together 3 top 40 recruiting classes and one top 25 class and is on track for another top 25 class based on 247's rankings. I know that recruiting isn't everything, not even close, but if Stoops doesn't get over the hump and gets canned next year he has undoubtedly left the program in better shape than when he arrived despite the lack of success on the field.

These responses say it all. We're light years away from where we need to be.

I agree with all of this. I'm beginning to think he isn't HC material, but I am willing to see what changes he makes and what the offseason looks like. Hope he can keep his recruiting class intact. Lots of needs in the upcoming class, even if freshmen.
