like LF. Seems like an awesome person and a great player, but being non-factors in games where his team gets beat by double digits while the opposing running backS (2 backs on Bama and 1 - almost 2- on Arky) outrushed him in those games is not a Heisman trophy winning performance. I don't care what he did against Syracuse and Western Michigan. What did he do against the big boys?

Incomparable to LF's situation. Both of those QBs played on teams that are historically well below LSU's level and those QBs elevated their teams to historic heights (for those programs). Those QBs also played WITH less talent than LF plays with.

Also not true.
Toby Gerhart in 2009: 1,736 yards and scored 26 TDs
Mark Ingram in 2009: 1,542 yards and 18 TDs
Caliber of competition and how you play in big games (Ingram had 100+ yards and 3 TDs in SEC Championship) matters a great deal.
