You think we had a timeout in 2012 and we just watched the final 5 seconds run off?
Sorry, you get the point. Spike the ball, call a timeout, whatever. Just stop the clock and call in the right play and personal group. The biggest play of the season, and I'm sure most coaches would spike the ball.

We had a good call and the correct group.

Nope, our best player, Gurley was blocking against their DE who tipped the pass. Their DB was all over Mitchell in the endzone. Even if the pass had not been tipped, it had little chance of success. I still say Murray should have been rolling out to the right with Gurley as one of the options on the play. Gurley could have chip blocked and then been one of the eligible receivers with Murray rolling out with options to run himself or pass. They could have run that same play 10 times knowing what had gone wrong the previous 9 times and it still would not have been successful.

Had Conley not caught he ball on instincts, we would have had one more play....clocked the ball, maybe two-three shots. Again, Richt and company went for it and we all fell short. Can't is BS because he hasn't.
