He got us 4 4* QBs, didn't he? Ramsey, Lambert, Bauta and I think Mason was 4*.
Lambert the guy who lost his starting job at Virgina? Ramsey was a very raw kid out of high school and they pretty much put all the eggs in that basket to being the heir after Murray. Everything we have seen from him has shown him to still be raw and unpolished. I always thought Bauta was a 3* and maybe even projected at FB? Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but it seems he wasn't highly rated.

Also Richt needs 5* qbs for us to do good things in the SEC. DJ 5*, Stafford 5*, Murray 5*. David Greene did do damn good for us, but wasn't recruited by Richt. I like how Richt brought in Murray and Mett and let them compete it out instead of just bringing in 1 qb a class.

I don't know if Park would be any good, but I wish he stayed b/ he woulda got his chance.

Yes. I'm pretty sure he was a 4*, too. I am guessing, but I am guessing that the staff felt he did not get very good coaching and never developed. Maybe they saw
he had mechanical issues that they felt they could work with him on. Point is, they tried. It's not like they saw we had problems at QB and didn't do anything.

No. They didn't put all their eggs in one basket. They had bauta and Jacob Park, yet ANOTHER 4* QB.

He may have been...I was probably thinking of Jacob Park as the other 4* QB. FB, though? Could have been, but that would be a strange combination. They are typically 240-250LBS.

Well, Alabama was wanting him bad, but SURELY they encouraged him to go because he was not developing.....but you are right....he would have been given a chance had he stayed.
