I thought we should have CLOCKED the ball and had a play, maybe two to work with but Richt and Bobo wanted that bama defense on the field. They couldn't substitute and were tired....it was a gamble and the tipped pass being CAUGHT, cost us. There weren't any timeouts....and any fan hindsight is shat. 2007, before not winning your conference was acceptable, UGA would have played USC for a Natty. That's twice that Richt coulda/ shoulda....what's the rest of the 140 coaches hanging their hats on.
I'm not saying I don't get pissy at Richt but the man can and does win consistently. Yes, UGA loses games we shouldn't but to say he can't win it all is a stretch when the man has had us in contention and it didn't happen. If we win out and go 10-3 with this team, he deserves a raise because this team isn't very good. Say what you want, but the realist, level headed fans predicted losses to bama and Tennessee and UF had a lot of talent back. Once Eason and crew get to town, I believe Richt will have Athens rocking again and UGA will be a threat.
