but Gary Pinkel still made a great choice backing these lunatics up... right?
The guy was a rock in a hard place. If he doesn't support his players he likely loses just as much as he has at this point.
So now that it's come out that he's stepping down in part due to lymphoma do you feel good about the dumb shite you've ran around here spouting about him? You truly are a piece of shite and I'm embarrassed that the Mizzou fans around here have to claim you.

Well Pinkel really looks like an ignorant fool now. So yea he definitely should have done things a little different

Two separate issues. It would be helpful if people could realize this. I'm sure everyone is pulling for his health.
However...
He was an enabler in members of his team getting manipulated by this turd Butler. There's video of Butler running up to that car in the parade. He was never hit - he ran up on the car. And look at the video of his first alleged meal after 7 days. He does not look like someone that hadn't eaten in 7 days, not at all. He's a spoiled rich kid, who's into marketing and wanted free publicity to get his activist career jump started so he can write a book, get on TV, run for office, and get richer through corrupt political dealings.
As the adult in the room with a lot more life experiences, Pinkel should have sniffed this out immediately and told his players not to put themselves out there for such a questionable guy like Butler.
Pinkel fell for it and instead of talking to his team about taking positive action to bring about a positive result, he wilted and supported a walk out and a ridiculous set of demands, and implicitly supported the ouster of his bosses for misconduct that was never established.

Thanks Belle, appreciate it. For the record though, we don't claim him.
