Not everyone agrees with the decision (to stop all football activities),” the player said. “Most people are pissed, including the black guys (on the team).”
"If we were 9-0 this wouldn't be happening."

No shite. Might as well turn their terrible team into a victory for the picked on and downtrodden thought!!!

If I were them I'd leave the team and university.

Graduate assistant insurance is a black issue? Wonders never cease.

University should sue them for loss of revenue.
Under NCAA rules a college may revoke a scholarship during the season if the player voluntarily withdraws from the team. Is this walkout similar, especially if they refuse to practice and/or play?

the campus radical dingdong that has been there for 7 years trying to get his undergrad degree is an agitant from Omaha.
The black football players aren't having any problems w/ "black issues" and neither were a majority of black students.
It's a hoax but hey, as long as it's a black persons scam, it must be taken very seriously,, right?

According to some on this board all the black players didn't want to play...all blacks are racist...they get all this free stuff..

sounds like a lot of the white players showed up for practice yesterday not knowing it had been "cancelled", and not all that happy about the reason why.
continuing vote for "no confidence" in Pinkel as HC...

How about football players, whatever the color, speaking about their teammates....is that OK? Because in a truly equal world a white player can judge a black player on his actions, and vice versa. That is how you move beyond this BS. That pesky "content of character" thing that used to be the goal of equal rights.

"nooo NOOOOO" "We said a BLACK president!!"

nothing will change because the loonbats don't really want it to, this is the only way they can get their name in the paper.

That will be the only way Ben will become a President.

If he's speaking out for the team I can understand it Phi. I'm sure some of the black players aren't all on board with it. Not that they agree with what's going on, but feel there's a different way to handle it.

No way in hell that would ever happen. As bad as the current climate is surrounding the school, it's nothing that would compare to the amount of negativity they would receive if they revoked the scholarships of dozens of black athletes for taking part in a protest.
