True, but before I go outside I'm going to ask what it's about. I'm not going one on one with a stranger, even if he has badge, if I don't know their intentions.

According to them he just walked in. Maybe they didn't hear him because of the noise complaint, but that's still going to raise my alarm. And if he was being an arse and refusing to tell me what was going on like they claim then it might as well be a home invasion. I'm as patient of a person as you'll ever meet, but I can empathize with how these teens reacted if their story is true.

Well according to the video, he said you're under arrest and then told him what for. So at that point he should've gone. Although I probably would've done it earlier.

You don't have to go out there by yourself. Obviously the cops not going to want everybody out there but I've been in similar situations and we just have one or two guys who aren't shite faced or confrontational go out and talk to them. Never had any problems with Auburn police.

Going out of your way to be respectful to them usually goes a long way. They appreciate it. Setting a very relaxed and calm tone leads to them giving you leeway. Id have to see the beginning of the confrontation to know though.

And let's be real, they knew why the cops were there. If you're having a party and the cops show up, you shouldn't be shocked.
