Serious question: Did moving the USCe game hurt LSU?

Miles seemed to suggest as much after the game, pointing out they hadn't been in a hostile road situation in quite some time. Now I know plenty of people here will jeer at the idea, but, really, it's not a ridiculous one. Hostile road games can really rattle players if they're not used to them, and I can see that being a factor yesterday. I'm not saying they would have won if the circumstances had been different -- Bama dominated them -- but I would argue that they might have been a little more effectual.

I agree with this.

that wasnt homefield advantage. that was LSU not showing up. their lines got dominated BADLY. LSU might as well have lost by 50 points.

I think it did, just a bit.

It is the reason I like the Hogs chances this weekend. We won in front of 100k+ at Tennessee. Played okay on the road in front of 100k+ at Bama. Won this past yesterday in front of 60k+ frat boys.

It helps to go on the road and hear the boo's and to not have a quiet surrounding while you are getting plays in on offense.

Still, that was not the reason LSU lost the way they did.

It didn't help.

Did he suggest the he and Cam had a horrible game-plan that made Bama look better than they really are?
And they are really really good on D.

Yes and I thought that as soon as they moved the USCe game. Our last true road game was the first game of the season.

I don't think it mattered that much. OL was outmatched more than anyone expected, so the same result would have happened in Tiger Stadium.

Hell no. Not changing your gameplan since the 2010 victory hurt yall.

That and Harris' lucky down the field throw up for grabs passes did not connect. Been saying for a month that Brandon Harris and Jermery Johnson are the same style of player.

Except USCe would not properly prepare them for last night. Is that the best L5U can come up with this year?
