People underestimate Tennessee at their peril. They've been a tough out.
Hurd is a big back with speed, but, Josh Dobbs' ability to punish you with his speed is what makes them effective rather then Hurd. Fournette is the most talented back in college, but even he's going to struggle if you don't have to really respect the qb to run or throw effectively. If you put Dobbs' on LSU, that would be a nightmare to scheme for as the field becomes so wide.

Just because it wasn't loaded when Fournette was carrying the ball, doesn't mean it wasn't loaded on half the snaps.
Seriously man, you can't discount the plays where they stacked it on a pass play.
That comes across rather bad. The main arguments are that Bama loaded the box and that LSU's play-calling was predictable. If LSU couldn't get a passing game going with Bama loading the box and even when Bama didn't, Fournette couldn't run, there should be all kinds of hell rained down on practices this week.

UT spread Bama out and ran the Ball. LSU's head coach is a moron. And he doesn't realize to beat a big defense like Bama's you have to spread the field nd run out multiple formations. That's how OSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Auburn , beat Bama.

Thanks. You should throw a brick at ESPN and the official scorer because for some strange reason they say he started at the UT 25 and was ran out of bounds at the Alabama 46 for a gain of 29 yards, which is 1 short of 30 and left him gaining 63 yards on the rest of his carries.
If you have any bricks left, you should throw one at YouTube too because the game video they posted shows him breaking a bunch of tackles but aside from one linebacker they are Mikah Fitzpatrick, Ronnie Harrison, and Geno Smith. Oddly, all of these are DBs, not front 7 and even stranger two of them do not play in base. They play in nickel and dime. Almost as if Bama was playing a form of prevent.
Clearly both the game stats and video have been altered. Damn that REC doing work again!

So, if you take away one of his big runs then he would've had less yards in the game. Makes sense

That isn't the point. Some in this thread have asserted or at least implied that he had regular sustained success against Bama's front 7 where LF and others have failed.
He had better success, but he got roughly 1/3 of his yards on a single play when UT ran it in an obvious passing situation. Otherwise he was pretty ineffective.
V&S said the facts I asserted were wrong so I told him the sources he needed to correct so that their reporting will fit his memory.

I said before the game and the L5U fans on here went nuts. Dobbs>>>>Harris. UT's passing game >>>>> L5U's. It's a much bigger threat, requires more attention. Period.
