Jayhawker fans tore down the goalposts at ku's Memorial Stadium...not because of football but because of the Royals winning the World Series.

Here they are in Potter's Lake next to the stadium, where they're normally tossed

kansas is like a pimple on your butt. They have nothing but sunflowers, sunshine and sun bitches. So they have to claim a successful Missouri team. Sad but true.

Are you sure that damage wasn't caused by kU fans trying to escape?

I still don't understand how they can condone using the jayhawk name. After all, jayhawls are known murderers, thieves and rapists. Pure scum all

The name "jayhawk" is an insult, especially as a mascot for their team. They were terrorists!

It's amazing how something as innocent as red socks can become such a hateful symbol.

Simply put, they will grab onto anything remotely successful. They remind me of those rate suckers on that gieco commercial.

This could also just be some scrap thieves too. Threw'm in a pond to conceal them and then later come back and sell'm for scrap. Unfortunately, the pond wasn't deep enough. They're special like that. You know kinda like some cards fans not sweating the cubbies. Hell, they don't even use those posts for anything anyways.

Royals probably have more radio station affiliates in Kansas than in Missouri. That's how I became a Royals fan in the 80's. Listened to the games on the radio over in Kansas. Don't get Cards or any Texas Teams and there was no MLB team in Colorado back then.

Hey if they want to claim a Missouri team then I am fine with it.

They cheer for Missouri in their own special way by paying for tickets, parking, and beer inside our Missouri stadium.
