Accepting mediocrity"? Really? Because I want the administration to make informed decisions? Amazing...

I'm not against getting a new HC. I'm not "accepting mediocrity" at all. I just don't want to act like a teenage girl with PMS and make stupid decisions because I'm an emotional wreck

How long do you want us to wait while you figure out how to tell a coach how to do his job???

Want me to tell him that he just needs to win more games? What a stupid thing to say, as if he is losing games on purpose or that he doesn't realize that winning games is important in football.

What would you like me to tell the coach? Hire better staff? Everyone was lauding Grantham when he was hired. Pruitt and Schotty were praised, as well. Bobo gave us some very explosive offenses in the past few years. I guess we could use some better position coaches? We are getting guys from the NFL, leftovers from Alabama, and seem to still be struggling. Not sure that's CMR's fault, though.

Want me to tell him that he should't care about the player's development as men? Is their development different from other programs? Are they not being taught how to play football? Not sure what to tell CMR in that case.

That's why I was asking for specifics from the outset. You and others want me to freak out and call for his head as if that's the solution to our championship drought. If we just can him and hire someone better, the world will be right again. In reality, if we don't know what he's doing wrong, we won't know what is right and would just be throwing another dart at whatever big name might be interested in the job. If we could identify exactly what's wrong, perhaps we could make a smart hire and get someone who can do those wrong things right.

1. It's not my responsibility to tell a coach anything. Go bitch at the administration if you want him fired.

2. There's more to winning than just showing up, as winning games is the result of many things that happen on and off the field. Those "things" are what I'm asking about. You know, specifics.

3. I don't care if CMR stays or goes. I like him, but I want us to win games. However, I don't think he should be fired until the administration understands the root cause of why CMR isn't winning like he should, because I don't want to see another bad hire replace him.
