Foresight or hindsight? Foresight, on paper, he was a good hire. Hindsight; not so much.
Personally, I think Sylvester Croom having been out of the college game for 18 years, not having a recruiting network available to him and promising a "west coast offense" when you don't have the players was pretty stupid. Nice guy though.
