Ok let's give the benefit of the doubt to the Auburn DB. He meant nothing by his apparent slight to Laquon.

That means he's sincerely preparing for Laquon like he prepares for any other receiver. Think about that for a second

That's even worse

A coordinator may prepare his defense to attempt to account for a special player.

But a PLAYER must play according to his assigned responsibilities in said defense. Yeah, said defense may SUCK, but it would be even worse if players were individually free-lancing.

So what kind of special preparation is required to defend Treadwell outside of "play your defensive back position as well as you can and how you were coached"? Please do describe to us, in detail, all the extra special efforts a defender must take in order to defend Laquon Treadwell.

(Pssssst, before you embarrass yourself, I'll help you out... there IS nothing special they can do. They are either good enough or they're not. Treadwell is a great because, by and large, HE'S A BETTER STRONGER FASTER PLAYER THAN THE GUY WHO HAS LINED UP ACROSS FROM HIM. Not because that guy didn't "prepare" for him correctly... dumbass.)
