Reading that reminded me of Win Lyle, with whom I went to school at AHS, and later became a damn solid kicker for AU. Fortunately or not, he is probably best remembered for this:

In any case, it is always good to hear of AHS players staying home and playing for AU even if they have to walk on. Radio doesn't count and screw Rashaan. WE.

well we've always had good kickers

Phillip Yost (kicker in the early-mid 2000s) was also from AHS... he never quite lived up to the hype though.

What's size difference between college and high school footballs? Does that make a difference in kicking?
