How do you think this one goes? It looks to me like the team is coming together late like most years but the injuries are piling up. I think the black bears beat AU easily on the road and get cocky and have a letdown game at home against us. Not saying we win but I think its another 1 score affair.

Our secondary play up to this point tells me we can't keep it within 14 points.

Early gut feeling...Arkansas 20 Ole Miss 35

I do agree but dang they've improved a ton since A&M even if they still have a long way to go.

That's all I'm gonna say about ole miss at this point. We have to get past Saturday and UTwhoever first-TOLEDO!

I thought so too until the Auburn game.

Ole Miss is going to thump us. If anything to make up for last year.

I'm ok with that though, let's get a W out of LSU or MSU and all is well.

Yeah I am concerned with how well Ole Miss passes the ball, our secondary has been pretty weak this season. I don't see us winning against them but Hugh Freeze always tends to lose one or two games that he shouldn't.

As time as told, a lot can change in a week or two.

We are beaten up...badly. Every game from here on out (barring UTM) will be no surprise, win or lose.

I think we have a legit shot against Ole Miss. We usually match up pretty well against them when we play.

That being said, I do agree, we need to get past UTM before I have any kind of a solid "yes we can beat Ole Miss"

Well they will have played for 10 straight weeks before they play us, so that could help.

We're going to need to force some turnovers like last year

I think it will be a close game, our secondary is vulnerable but Freeze has an almost superhuman ability to make lousy play calls in the red zone. The Aggies completely collapsed against Ole Miss and only lost by twenty (though Freeze did take a knee in scoring position to end the game). Given how poorly the Aggie offense played it could have easily been a thirty or even forty point blowout.

this is my only hope. maybe after playing a really beat up auburn team they will catch the beat up bug that auburn caught from us and maybe we can beat Ole miss.

I don't think they have.

Tennessee had receivers running wide open on us all game, but we were lucky that Dobbs was horrendous that night and couldn't have hit the broad side of a barn. Seriously, his throws on their last two possessions were laughably bad.

Fast forward to Auburn, and we lose that game by 10 points if their team doesn't soak their gloves in melted butter before the game.

I'm not being a Negahog here (I'm still in Bert's corner), but it's obvious that our secondary is by far the weakest facet of our team, because even our linebackers have improved significantly from where they were at the start of the season. Ole Miss will beat us by 20 if we don't shore up our pass coverage, and fast.

Agreed....

We were benefitted by the pasty passer, and the dropsie receivers..
