I see it as a bigger rivalry than Tenn--and I'm old

Exactly, GregAl. My best friend and I discussed this yesterday (we're both old enough to remember games that Coach Bryant coached). I asked him "If we could only beat one, would you rather beat Tennessee or LSU this year?" He said LSU, and so did I.

I'm not sure what the extended definition of "rivalry" is, where you have to have played for generations and such. While Alabama/Tennessee has much more history, and Alabama/auburn has much more hate, this Alabama/LSU game is the greatest game in the country year in and year out for the last several years. So we can call it what we want - to me, it's the biggest and best rivalry in the SEC.

And frick auburn.

So our rivals are now:

Auburn
Tennessee
Whoever is the consistently toughest team on our schedule.

God I hope Ole Miss doesn't keep beating us or we will have to be rivals with them too

I agree with this

you can call it a rivalry or whatever you want. Year in year out I want to beat Bama.

Bama fans if LSU was playing any other SEC school who do you hope wins generally?

I usually hope it is bama that loses bc I know 1 how important it is for them to get a loss, and 2 f them.
