I'm not sure if I missed something but why has the D given up on throwing up the Landshark? Tony Bridges did it once but that was all I saw. Is there a reason they stopped or am I missing it?

They probably feel like they need to earn it back after the way they started the season.

I hope this is right. They sure as hell didn't earn it the first seven weeks.

Not sure which players threw it up but they did it at least 3 times and once did it at LaQuon. They were all in the 1st Qtr so once we started pounding them they stopped. Still pissed me off though.

When I asked this during the Bama game thread someone said they retired or after the TCU game. Not sure if that's accurate or not but I bet I haven't seen it 5 times all year.

I can't see them stopping unless it was a conscious decision. Just not sure if it's the players coaches or if university stopping it.

I saw aggies throw it up...but I see the opposing team throw it up just about every game. Does not bother me....We are the original land sharks.

I believe it got thrown up last night and drew a taunting flag... I'll have to look at stats to see when and who...

Breeland Speaks got a taunting flag on the same play that Haynes threw up the landshark but it wasn't for throwing up the landshark.

I stand corrected. That's the play of which I was speaking. I didn't see what Speaks did, but saw the Landshark and the flag. I believe it was a sack or a tackle for a loss.

Link to the play, looks like Speaks just did a weird shove with his upper body after the play.

No, he did a gun gesture to the opponents bench. It's at the very end of that link. That's my best guess anyway.

It's pretty simple. They haven't been Landsharks lately. That's gotta be reestablished first.

That's what I heard. I've seen a few of them, but not much.

Yeah did a little gun thing towards their sideline but the flag didn't come out till the push he did right at the end.
