UF. LSU has proven they can't win rematches.

Too many LSU fans in here thinking they dominated the game. You won, barely

423 yards to 326
50% 3rd down conversion rate to 37%

LSU never trailed in the 2nd half, threw 7 passes in the 2nd half, 6 on 3rd down.

White fair catches the ball, refs call the foul on the return, LSU wins by 3 TDs.

It wasn't as close as the score indicates.

Another way to look at it is that Less had to call two trick plays against that UF defense and threw everything at UF but the kitchen sink to win by 7 at home at night in scary old Deaf Valley.

Or you could look at like this:

LSU outgained UF by more than 100 total yards.
LSU outrushed UF by more than 150 yards
LSU was better on 3rd down
LSU had more 1st downs
LSU had more Yards Per Play
LSU had more Yards Per Pass
LSU had more Yards Per Rush

The most important: LSU outscored UF 28-21 without special teams scores, and one of UFs was a 14 yard "drive" after a muffed punt.

UF won the turnover battle 1-0
UF had more total passing yards

I know you love trolling LSU, but you're making yourself look more ignorant than usual.

ETA: at the downvotes. "Facts are ruining my trolling!!"

We are all gonna enjoy the melt that comes first weekend of Nov! Going to be epic! Can't wait to listen to all the whinny excuses for the next year! LSU stomps bama this year and LF puts on a freakn show for the nation!! Can you say Heisman game?? Gonna be a great watching the torcher and the stadium empty in the 2nd half! You guys are way too confident and I love the lack of respect LSU still has w/ LF running the football. It's gonna be one for the ages. Next year will just be a who's ya daddy game, but this year sets up perfectly to take the SEC daddy belt back in Tuscaloosa! 38-20 Tigers!

Yeah but that's the wanna be way to look at it. You see you have to actually watch what happened to know that LSU did what ever they wanted on offense and FL is the lucky ones that caught two hailmary passes and was gifted 2 ST TDs. 5 sacks to none, over 200 rushing and passing, to their 50 yards rushing and 170 yards passing. Please LSU beat the crap out of FL and anyone saying otherwise are just trolls.

Wrong, that was my point, 7 passes is not "throwing everything but the kitchen sink". LSU special teams just made it look closer than it was.

That's what happens when you have 21-0 and then lose the next 3 in a row.

But this thread is about LSU in rematches and how they just can't mentally be competitive in those games.

Yep. UF should have lost by 3 TDs IMO.

Needing to turn to trick plays to win is though.

LSU ripped off 28 first half points in impressive fashion, and they've been doing that kind of thing all year long. What is concerning is that the team lacks the killer instinct -- we've also been surviving near comebacks all year long.

What happened against Florida was not that much different from what happened against Mississippi State. We are a young team that is still learning how to win. It may take a harsh lesson for them to learn to keep their foot on the gas.

This isn't true. UF won the special teams battle so calling them lucky is ignorant. The muffed punt is unusual, but it happens.

UF had 270 yards passing, not 170. They were held to 50 yards rushing.

Is what it is and I guess we gonna find out who daddy is nowa days. I think people forget or just don't know how good Leonard Fournette really is? He's that good w/ the right game plan there is nothing bama will be able to do about it. Harris is just starting. Watch this W. Kentucky game. Bama is great but isn't on the same level this year as LSU and it will be evident.

You stooped to the level of putting LSU as your team?

I am disappoint...

LSU won by 7 points. Had they kicked the FG, they would have won by 3. The didn't "need" to run the fake to win.

Is this really that difficult for you to comprehend?
