The University of Florida is the flagship of the state. I am old enough to remember the girls school...which used to be the Florida State College for Women until 1947, a nice liberal arts school with #@&!* girls...grand dads used to travel over to Tally to pick them up and have their way with them. That clown college they have in Sarasota is a bastion of higher learning....lets face it...makeup, tooting horns, big noses and size 24 shoes is a tough study.
