I understand the argument that the game screws up scheduling. I can go along with that. I just see a lot of comments over the last couple years trying to ridicule the idea that it's a rivalry.

I don't see why anyone would care who our rivals are, but I understand why people are annoyed that it causes scheduling problems.

As for the 9 game SEC schedule mentioned earlier, Saban has been more outspoken in favor of that than any other coach I have heard.

And please don't overlook my not-so-subtle jab at Ole Miss.

I doubt many people here care about the game, beyond a few jabs here and there. It is all about the scheduling bullshite.

I believe Miles is in favor of the 9 game schedule, as well. I would imaging that UGA, UF, USC, and UK would resist more, since they have yearly home and home OOC rivalries. One less easy home game puts a squeeze on them.

Why not make it a non-conference game?
