This would be a streak now and I am wondering how much patience there is in Baton Rouge. And I like and respect Les Miles so I am not down on him.
Think about it. If Nick Saban were not at Alabama the last several years are probably Pax LSU, one of the greatest dynasties in history. But it has not happened and most likely can't and won't..because of Saban and Alabama.
I am a seer. I KNEW they would be calling for Les's head.
I think a loss to Bama might do Gus Malzahn in at Auburn, but I hope there is more patience in BR.

Totally.
ETA: I thought TSIO was like some mystical sacred altar on which the lore of college football was built? All I see is gumps talking about how they're totally not scared of LSU or anything three weeks from kickoff.

Nope. Les will be here until he's ready to retire.

Yes. I think ESPN will definitely pick Spurrier over Miles to replace Corso on Gameday if LSU doesn't go 14-0.

Depends on how you define "not get it done"
3-2 the rest of the way is a real possibility, 9-2 but missing the SEC champ is still an improvement over last year.

I doubt it will ever be in jeopardy.

So this is really an Auburn flame thread by an Updyke.

Sure it is an improvement, but it is not a championship. Les just came along at the wrong time really. I think he does a hell of a job and you can't help but like the guy.

Your fear is coming out.
Y'all got the TSIO on the schedule, but LSU on your mind.

Malzahn is on the hot seat. And a bad finish ended up by a loss to Alabama at home and Pat Dye might run Gus off.

Fear? I am here talking nice about your coach and I hope you don't make a mistake and run him off.

Ha ha. No. Could bring in the number one recruiting class this year.

LSU is very young and basically return the entire team in 2016 even if he goes 11-1 or 10-2 this year he still is ahead of where most people thought this team would be.
