I watched most of it sober.
It looked to me like we were playing conservative because we could.
We were never in a position of having to make big plays.
Had ROWK, Sony, and KMFM each broken off one of those gut runs up the middle, which generally happens at some point in the game, it's a 25 point beat down and we are all pounding our chests, and Shotty is a genius.
ETa to be more clear-
Most of the time when running up the middle it's
1 yd
2yd
1 yd
5 yd
1 yd
-1 yd
60 yards TD
We just never had the 60 yd TD.
The sad truth is that the OL just isn't getting any push, they aren't pulling well, and they aren't playing through the whistle (especially Theus).
If the OL is playing well, there's nothing wrong with the play calls.
