-Why do we continue to run the read option when Lambert is no threat to keep it? I think he's kept it once, for like a 5 yard TD against vandy. Hell even if you only keep it once per game for a 1 yard gain, at least show the other team that that's an option.
-Why do we continue to run straight up the middle? With chubb that's fine, he's that kind of runner. Sony isn't. Gimme a toss sweep (have we run one all season?) some traps, pulling guards, something. Get him outside.
-Need more keith marshall
-Need more TEs, which we've all said all year
-Why no deep shots downfield? I know we attempted a post or two yesterday, but with Mitchell and Davis's speed, at least once per game we should just run a straight up go and tell them to run straight as fast as they can and bomb it. That's what we did on Reggie's TD against UT last week and it worked. Even if it's incomplete who cares, and if it's picked they're 50 yards downfield which is the same as a punt anyway.

Yesterday I wasn't able to watch the entire game, which was horrible but beside the point, and it's crazy how pretty much everyone agrees on these points. Usually when fans are mad they complain about different things or whatever but few points have become blatantly obvious

The underutilization of the TEs
The refusal to play Keith Marshall
The misuse of Sony
The fear of anything deep
Treating 3rd down like 4th down

There was a moment last night that I think has really defined our play style and really I think it shows the team/coaches demeanor. It was like 3rd and 8 and we ran an off tackle draw with Brendan frickin Douglas. It's like we call two incredibly basic plays like a dive and then a 2 yard out. Then when we don't break one we decide that, well, may as well set this punt up, and give up on 3rd. Then we have a shitty punt. Rinse & Repeat.

I watched most of it sober.

It looked to me like we were playing conservative because we could.

We were never in a position of having to make big plays.

Had ROWK, Sony, and KMFM each broken off one of those gut runs up the middle, which generally happens at some point in the game, it's a 25 point beat down and we are all pounding our chests, and Shotty is a genius.

ETa to be more clear-
Most of the time when running up the middle it's
1 yd
2yd
1 yd
5 yd
1 yd
-1 yd
60 yards TD

We just never had the 60 yd TD.

The sad truth is that the OL just isn't getting any push, they aren't pulling well, and they aren't playing through the whistle (especially Theus).

If the OL is playing well, there's nothing wrong with the play calls.
