read it. should end the whole "is Ridley better at this stage than Cooper was" debate. No. He's not.

How so?

Ridley is faster, not quicker.

Ridley is more explosive, but not more elusive.

See a trend? Even though Amari Cooper was all those, just in terms of comparing sheer ability, Ridley is the better deep threat.

Amari Cooper is the perfect mixture of everything. His best trait probably being his route running. But Ridley has one HUGE specialty as compared to Amari Cooper whose best traits were equally distributed and excellent.

Ridley could be in Amari's class at some point, but he's not there yet. There are a number of reason:
1) he already has 4 drops this season. Cooper didn't have that many his entire FR season (tho he did as a sophomore)
2) Ridley is 1-11 in contested catches meaning in 11 chances he's pulled in one. Coop was better than that average as a FR (think Ole Miss TD and UGA in SECCG as a FR)
3) also, Cooper is only 6 months older than Ridley RIGHT NOW, which means that as a FR, Coop was three years younger than Ridley is as a FR
