I remember him as a player (both college and his back up role in the pros). Coaches come and go. I watched Bryant through his entire career at Alabama, much of Shug's, the majority of Vaughts and the multiple failures of of State's with a few success stories sprinkled in there. I always like to see legends go out before they lose their edge. I think it's obvious it's time for Spurrier to go. Just a little surprised he is doing it mid season.
