Kentucky hates Spurrier because he made it a personal goal to beat Bill Curry's brains in whenever he could - and he did.
Spurrier didn't hate Kentucky - he resented Curry all the way back to when Curry refused to talk to any of Pepper Rodgers' assistants after BC was hired Tech.
the irony now...Kentucky fans actually hate Curry worse than Spurrier ever did. ran him out of Lexington.
