No sarcasm, I'd be interested in that. I'm curious to see if the hype is real with him.

it could be real, there's absolutely no way of knowing.

However, I'd love it if they went after smart. Look at his resume. He hasn't done anythign in his whole entire career besides ride saban's coattails.

-2004: LSU DB coach
-2005: 1 season as UGA RB coach (I know, wtf..moving on)
-2006: 1 season as Safeties coach for the dolphins
-2007: DB coach for alabama
-2008 to present: Alabama DC


I mean he could be all world or be worse than dooley, there is no way to know. But Muschamp has a somewhat similar resume before taking over UF (a much better program with much better recruits) and outside of 1 season was pretty blah.

I would MUCh rather see SC get smart than one of the young up and coming HCs like herman, fuente, etc

My sarcasm was about him being a great coach.

I want to see it happen out of curiosity. Because I don't think he'll make a good HC.

Could be wrong. It has happened once before.
