More players are ridiculously good at it today than in Jordan's day, and do it at insanely efficient clips.

Jordan wouldn't be pedestrian today, but like I said, he was ahead of his time, so he stood out in ways that even better players today do not because he was the "first mover."

That's not to denigrate MJ, either--what he started caused the game to improve in a way it might not have had he not come along.

I agree with ya TB. I was just saying he wouldn't be an average athlete. He was still a 40 inch vertical kinda player.
