to pay individual schools for "Act of God" type situations dealing with conference football games...
member institutions should be able to buy in for non-conference games...

LOL...no, dealing with weather, i.e. paying South Carolina because of the situation in Columbia

No tell how much money SC will lose if the game is moved.. But it should moved so they still deal with the real issues in the state.

What? You think everyone helping out, trying to recover will just stop and forget about it.
Hell, as bad as we are I bet you there are many that would kill for the temporary distraction of football.

the precedent has been set...LSU-Arizona State 2005, game moved from Baton Rouge to Tempe...

So has moving a game to a different date. Tanner hasn't ruled it out, but I doubt it takes that course. Haven't checked but it's unlikely they have the same BYE, and LSU has a shot at getting into the SECCG so they can't do it the week after the regular season.
