1) start Channing ward in place of Haynes. Haynes has been a huge disappointment this year. He is a pass rusher, but not an every down end. Put him in on passing downs but that's it.
2) start speaks over Hamilton. Speaks and nkemdiche need to be in at the same time.
3) get tee Shephard in the lineup. Put him in place or Moore and get some better coverage in there. Not like Moore is making big tackles anyways.
4) give Bradley a shot. There is no way he is a worse runner inside than Walton.
5) if we have the ball inside the opponents 5, either hand off to Robert or throw it up to laquon. Don't care if every team knows this is what we're going to do. It's better than anything else we do.
6) give up returning any punts. Put laquon back there and have him fair catch everything

1. Teams are getting the ball out quickly. You can't get a pass rush on 5 yard routes that our dB's are playing 10 yards off the line of scrimmage.
2.Ok.
3.Sheppard is too little to play the spot Moore/Conner play.
4. Eugene Brazley isn't the best RB or he'd be playing.
5. Ok
6. No. Our return game has been trash, but Laquon back there is not the answer.

Didn't mike Hilton play conners 's spot some in the past? If he's big enough, so is tee. And I don't want laquon to make reruns, I just want someone back there I know I'll catch it and not do anything stupid.

Yes Hilton played the position in his freshman year I believe. Need to be a very good tackler to play that position. Maybe Tee isn't very physical? Not sure.

1) If teams are getting the ball out quickly, definitely no need for so much cushion by the DBs. Get in their face and make them beat us deep. I don't recall a single ball thrown over our heads yet. No need to when there have been multiple chances for safer routes in front.

The TD last night to Robinson (I think that's who caught it) was technically "over our head"....

We gave up a big play right off the bat last night because of a bad angle. Maybe that's why we've been playing so deep?
We were superior on defense almost every game we played last year. We just don't have the same intensity.
We severely miss DT and Serdarius Bryant in the middle shutting that short shite down. JMO.

I think that play was the first play we'd given up over 20+ all year. It was covered. Hilton just took a horrible angle and didn't play the ball.

Hilton set a pick on the other db in coverage as well .
It would have been better if he took a knee or layed down on that play than what he did.

Just dumb

So, still no deep passes. You know, of the bomb variety. Maybe a catch and big run, but nothing like a deep post for 6. Point remains that the DBs need to force the issue more.

1) Hire an OC -- Freeze can't handle play-calling

2) Hire an offensive line coach that has experience with the spread

3) Console Doresrules after #2

4) Throw Laquon the mother fricking rock inside the redzone

I feel so bad for AJ. Poor dude is getting owned out there.

Where/who is doing that? Yeah he performed poorly but so did a bunch of other players!

Like I have said several times, Hilton needs to play Husky as he is our best open field tackler and has experience there. Move Elston back to Rover and start Hampton at FS. Chief and the Moore twins would back up each position. Husky has been a glaring problem in both of the last two games.

I also wouldn't mind Shepard at Husky either. What's he going to do, miss a tackle because he is 5lbs lighter than A.J.? No loss in production there.

And there it is. Hilton to Husky.

"I was approached yesterday (Sunday)," Hilton shared, "but I wasn't too surprised. A lof people already kind of had an idea after a while it was going to happen. It was the coaches' decision, and I'm ready to get it rolling now."
