A year or so back, I looked into my crystal ball and it showed HCGP quitting after this year. Age: mid 60's, New socialite wife, plenty of millions $$, divorce says he has to pay his EX "as long as he is the head coach of the University of Missouri football team."

Couple that with this year's slump...and little to hope for next year (think: OL, think: how much (un)fun this year and next)

Whatcha think? Just a feeling I get when I look at this season.

Lol, no.

Little hope for next year? This is the youngest two deep we've ever had under Pinkel. Couple that with getting the future some valuable reps this year...

Rhodes hires the current coach at Houston before coming here in the spring. Tom Herman would be a great option. Fuentes at Memphis would be another option.

I don't think GP leaves for a few more years.

Well, I admit it. Before I looked into my crystal ball...I'd had two jumbos.

But I'd still bet a beer.

I hear ya my friend. Who knows? You might end up being right.

I just think GP actually has goals/plans for the program. I don't know that he'll ever get there but none of them will be reached after this year. I also see him going out more like a Dick Vermeil, after a winning series and with a lot of tears.

Only if he wins the National Championship. Stop laughing, there's still a chance. Then Pinkel drops the mic and walks offstage.

If not, He's here till 2020.

After 2012, I only gave him a couple of years. Just enough to get the ship righted and hand it off. He seemed beaten down - DUI, divorce, crappy 1st year of SEC...

However, the past two years has really rejuvenated him. He still sounds upbeat about the potential of this team and program. I think that he thinks they will really make another run at things like 2007/2013 in the next few years.

The "Crystal ball" shows that in 2 years we may see our best Mizzou team, ever.
