Don't think it's so much that Kelly struggled against a stout defense as it was a good game plan against Vandy. All they did was take away his first option, and in doing so exposed that he is struggling a little on his second and third reads. I'm going to be honest, I'm absolutely amazed that Mason spotted it.

They did have a nice plan. He didn't have his best game. Made a couple bad throws, but it's his 4th start. That's how you learn. I suspect he will be fine. He still had 330 yards

this is interesting. Before the game I read on an OM board that Vandy had been studying OM's sideline signals using some fairly complex systems (fair play imo). I just wrote it off as pregame paranoia. Do you think there could be truth to that from what you noticed?
