You want honesty, I'll give it to you. Imo Spav is trying to figure out what he wants the offense to be, he is more conservative than KK was but KK had JM to bail him out if the play calling was off, Spav doesn't have that. I believe Sumlin and Spav are trying to find a balance between chucking it all over the yard, throwing bubble screens, and running the ball and can't find a happy nedium. Personally I am not a fan of his play calling but he knows way more about what the O can and can't do. I feel he deserves this year to learn and improve and I expect to see that, if we don't see that, then I think something needs to be done.








Rant answer Spav is great but he has so many dimensions in the offense thar there are to many options to choose from so play calling is way more difficult and complicated than just having to signal in run right, run left, throw into flat.
